CHUEN-KUNG indicates that the herb is called heartbreak grass and is a kind of poisonous plants that specifically grows in the mountain area of Jiangxi Province, but he has no idea at all as to what kind of connection there is between the murder suspect and YAT-SHAN. CHEUNG-SING, TAI-LIK, and YEUNG MAU disguise themselves as Taoists to perform the sacrificial ritual. All of a sudden, WAN-LING and SAP-KAU seem to be possessed by the ghost of the late Master TAI, accusing TAI HO-YAN of committing several crimes.
